Head Start for founder's pack owners will begin at 10:00am PST on January 15th, 2016, and name reservations for Disciple and Master pack owners will begin on January 11th, 2016. The game has already been officially released in the following regions: Korea: June 30, 2012
      China: November 28, 2013
      Japan: May 20, 2014
      Taiwan: November 20, 2014
      <a name="4">Has Beta Testing started?</a> Yes. CBT 1: Oct 29, 10am PDT - Nov 2, 10pm PDT [NA server only]* CBT 2: Nov 13, 10am PDT - Nov 16, 10pm PDT [NA/EU]** CBT 3: Nov 24, 10am PDT - Nov 30, 10pm PDT [NA/EU]** CBT 4: Dec 11, 10am PDT - Dec 14, 10pm PDT (English/French/German)[NA/EU]** CBT 5: Dec 18, 10am PDT - Dec 21, 10pm PDT (English/French/German)[NA/EU]** *NA servers will only support English. **EU servers will support English, French, and German; except on CBTs 1, 2, & 3. <a name="5">What type of pay model will Blade & Soul use?</a> Blade & Soul has been announced as a F2P (free-to-play) title for the West and will have no content limitations. They have also stated that the game will not be "pay-to-win". <a name="6">Will the Western clients be censored?</a> No. <a name="7">Where will the Western servers be located?</a> Blade & Soul's Western servers will be housed in the following location: North America: Dallas, Texas US
      Europe: Frankfurt, Germany.
      <a name="8">Will there be Oceanic/SEA servers?</a> There are currently no plans to support Oceanic/SEA servers. However, NCSOFT has stated that if the community shows enough interest they will reconsider. A petition has been created for NCSOFT to reconsider. <a name="9">Will my characters from the other regions be transferable to the Western versions?</a> No. Transferring accounts is not possible, but transferring the physical appearance of your character from other versions is possible through the profile screenshot function in Character Creation. <a name="10">Will the Western version be region blocked?</a> There are currently no plans for region blocking. <a name="11">What are the playable races?</a> Jin, Gon, Yun, Lyn. Click here for more information. <a name="12">Why did they change the name of the Kun race to Yun for the Western release?</a> In North America, the word "Kun" closely resembles a derogatory racial slur. <a name="13">What are the playable classes?</a> There are currently six confirmed playable classes for the Western versions. The "Warlock" class can be found in the KR, CN, JP and TW clients but have yet to be confirmed for the North American and European release.

      <a name="14">Are there race and class restrictions?</a> Yes. The playable races in Blade & Soul are indeed restricted to a select few classes. Below you'll find what you can play each race as. Jin: Assassin, Blade Master and Kung Fu Master

      Lyn: Blade Dancer, Force Master and Summoner
      Yun: Blade Master, Force Master and Kung Fu Master
      <a name="15">What will be the Western versions initial level cap?</a> The initial level cap on release will be 45. <a name="16">Will there be a vigor/fatigue system the the Western versions?</a> No. <a name="17">What systems will this game be released on?</a> Blade & Soul will be released for Windows PC. <a name="18">What are the required PC specs for Blade & Soul?</a> Below are the PC specs taken from Blade & Soul's Korean client. You will not "name & shame" any cheaters, exploiters, hackers or any other rather unpleasant players. Please use the in-game Report and Block features instead. You will not post extremely explicit text or images such as pornography or gore. All content should be safe-for-work. Borderline posts should be hidden with spoiler tags to maintain a SFW (safe-for-work) environment. Please do not post links or images from Imgur. Imgur blocked the Dojo from hotlinking their images with no warning or negotiation offers so any posted Imgur images or avatars will be broken or appear "white". You will not create threads with the intention of causing unrest (“baiting”). You will not discuss any private servers, cheating, account selling, real money trading (“RMT”), trust trading or related activities. This does not include mods or tools that do not break Dojo rules. False reports will result in a warning or ban. Please read the rules carefully before sending in reports. Backseat (“pocket”) moderation will be hidden to keep the forum clean. If you find a post or thread that you believe needs to be moderated, use the report function. You will not edit your post if it has been edited by a moderator for rule-breaking. You will obey moderator warnings. If you are privately messaged by a moderator for rule-breaking and you wish to contest it, you may do so in the private message but remember that moderator decisions are final. Complaints about Dojo rules, Dojo staff members or the Dojo itself on the forum will be hidden and further action may be taken against your account. If there are changes you wish to see, use the Site Feedback & Support board. Topics and posts may be edited or altered by Dojo staff members due to bad formatting. This can include things such as posts typed in capslock or posts that have content that needs to be hidden with spoiler tags. Moderators may delete or hide posts without warning if the post was not worth writing a warning for. Request for an old thread to be locked if you need to create a new one. Attacking other clans for their management or playstyles will not be tolerated and will be treated the same way as personal attacks. If your clan uses a language other than English, use [XX] in the beginning of your topic title (i.e. [FR] for French clans). Marketplace You will not attempt to buy, sell or trade NCoin or items from the Hongmoon Store. You will not participate in any real-money trading ("RMT") transactions, such as selling gold. You will not attempt to buy or sell premium membership. You will not participate in trust trades, such as selling services, trading cross-server, or selling items from the Hongmoon store. Guides You will not create any threads on the Guides board that could not be considered guides. Roleplay & Fan Fiction You will not roleplay in any board outside of the Roleplay & Fan Fiction board. Erotic roleplay (“ERP”) will not be tolerated and will result in a hidden post or deleted thread. Mods & Tools You will not post mods or tools that could be used to give you an advantage over other players (i.e. speedhacks). You will not post extremely explicit mods, such as nudity mods. You will not steal work created by another user. All work must be original unless you are given permission by the original creator of the work to post it on the Dojo. You will not submit mods that infringe on the copyrights of companies (i.e. Sanrio outfits, etc.). You will not submit mods that require users to bypass GameGuard, nor will you that teach users how to bypass GameGuard. Off-Topic Discussion Forum rules #3, #4, #8 and #9 will be loosely enforced on the Off-Topic Discussion board. You will not need to use spoiler tags for off-topic posts, including borderline content, memes, macros, etc. Reputation System You will not use the reputation system in a way that shows bias towards specific members. Repeat Offenders We will no longer be using the warning point system. Instead, temporary bans will be issued to repeat offenders. The decision to ban and the length of the ban will be at the moderators’ discretion. Ban Appeals If you feel you were wrongly banned or that you have changed your ways, you can email me through the Dojo’s contact system (found on my profile underneath “Contact Information”). Your appeal will be discussed by the Dojo staff members before a decision is made. Oh wow, I about fell out my seat, This is a lot of info for me, I loved this part -

"Blade & Soul does have certain classes that can heal while leveling up but damage dealing classes can heal as well. Basically all classes are hybrids as they can all do what they want during different situations."

It just gets my mind moving so fast,This just makes me want to play....

Truly amazing, and also Thank you for the translation, I'm so lost now.. Must figure out.. strategy's :oops:

We know Hyung-Tae Kim's art style takes certain areas of the body and really makes them pop, but that's hard to come by in the game itself.

Probably the best part from the entire interview.

Just wow to be honest, so much information there about little things such as the inclusion of Schools/Guilds/Dojos to the way the class 'role' system is going to work, or rather not work, with everyone being a hybrid so you'll have far more flexibility in building parties to tackle dungeons - I'll be interested to see how the implement the whole healing thing personally - and they say all classes are hybrids so does that mean we'll see Force Masters tanking? Can't wait to see that elaborated on more.

Anyway great work translators! Once again delivering.

so. . . the main story is about revenge. . . interesting

i also like how they said items will be a mark of achievement and honor, but it makes me wonder, just how much items will affect you. i hope there is a moderate amount cuz if items are just for looks and show then i would rather run around nekkid ^.^

also im suprised they are just now gathering information about PvP

i felt like this battle system revolved alot around fun and interactive pvp

will be interesting to see what they come up with

I'm immensely glad that they're taking the FF11 route of story telling. If there is one thing FF11 did right, its that. You had so much story content that is made you WANT to continue a mission or a quest to get to the next part. And the way it was set up that you got more and more benefits for continuing the story, the stories played out in a cutscene manner, rather than just logs and logs of text. NPCs telling you of events between action scenes, much like console RPGs. Or even if they take the Prius route that'll be much more involving as well. From what i've seen of the vids so far, it seems to be coming along nicely in that regards. I can't wait!

Force Masters tanking? Maybe the aggro system won't work in that way. If you've played Vindictus/Mabinogi Heroes there isn't a traditional Healer/Tank/DD role in that either, nor does the aggro work the same. People still seem to be thinking in the traditional sense. Besides, if they make each character able to solo, then that in itself makes each character a tank/DD/healer in itself right? I for one hope they break the mold of, "who will take the damage?", and eradicate the traditional aggro system as Mabinogi Heroes has done.

I wonder if all the classes will have their own "aoe" attacks?

This QA still didn't answer my question about, what will take the place on getting powerful armor as rewards, if armor is not important anymore?

Would be a good concept for PVP, I think a good one would be too have-

-1v1 Arena, except with well separated brackets. With titles of some-sort.

-5v5 Strictly Guild/Clan Arena and or a raid on each other with some lore background of the culture

And some kind of Achievements for how well the guild played together, and or how much they accomplished.

The Masters will have to know how to create a synergy effect.

So now we can make our own play style combo and equipment synergy right ?

Love it.

I love Ragnarok because the card system really make game so dynamic and unique.

and I really hope this game not end up like a lot of game in the market "Everyone use a same set of gear but differences costume"

Some of their goals in their system design make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I hope they can actually pull them off so that they work.

I'm talking about the idea of gear being mostly cosmetic than anything else, that there are no set roles, and that buffs/debuffs are not as prominent.
